January 15, 2009
Dear Valued Customers, Friends, and Partners in Business,
I want to assure you that all Enchantmints products are in compliance with the CPSIA, including the enforcements that will take place on February 10, 2009. As you may know, there has been a great deal of concern about this new law—the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act.
Since the inception of Enchantmints, we have tested all of our products. Our products meet – and normally exceed – the safety standards set forth by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). These comprehensive tests evaluate products for every safety attribute, including physical and mechanical testing, toxic elements and flammability. The tests also check for the content of lead, the presence of phthalates, small parts, sharp edges, and many more potential hazards. We will continue to conduct these tests as part of our normal corporate culture.
All of our products are in compliance with the stringent CPSIA lead guidelines. None of our products contain phthalates. All Enchantmints products purchased before February 10, 2009 and all that will be purchased in the future are in compliance with the CPSIA.
As required by the CPSIA as stated in Section 102, Enchantmints will make available Certificates of Compliance on all products manufactured on or after November 12, 2008. At present, there are no Enchantmints products in the marketplace or in our warehouse that were manufactured on or after November 12, 2008. For all products manufactured on or after November 12, 2008, we will post Certificates of Compliance on our website at enchantmints.com.
If there should ever be an instance where one of our products would not comply, we will be responsible for a full refund and shipping costs. Please be assured that past, present and future we have and always will be safety conscious in every aspect of our product development.
Yours Sincerely,
Marke Levene
President
